CD19 SIR-T is an investigational cell therapy being developed by Angeles Therapeutics for the treatment of B-cell malignancies. The therapy utilizes the company's proprietary Synthetic Immune Receptor T-cell (SIR-T) platform, which engineers T-cells to express a synthetic receptor that targets the CD19 antigen. Unlike conventional Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cells, the SIR-T construct is designed to integrate more naturally into the endogenous T-cell receptor (TCR) complex, potentially leading to more physiological signaling, improved metabolic fitness, and enhanced persistence of the engineered cells. The program is currently in the IND-enabling phase, targeting indications such as non-Hodgkin lymphoma and other CD19-positive leukemias.
