Overview

CD19-targeted CAR-T cells (First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University) is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed for the treatment of B-cell malignancies. The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically targets the CD19 antigen, a protein consistently expressed on the surface of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL) cells. Once re-infused into the patient, these engineered T cells recognize and bind to CD19-positive tumor cells, leading to T-cell activation, proliferation, and the subsequent lysis of the malignant cells. This specific CAR-T product is currently being investigated in Phase 2 clinical trials, particularly in combination with the XPO1 inhibitor selinexor, to evaluate its safety and efficacy in patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
