CD19 x CD22 SIR-T is an investigational dual-targeting cell therapy developed by Angeles Therapeutics for the treatment of B-cell malignancies. The therapy utilizes the company's proprietary Synthetic Immune Receptor T-cell (SIR-T) platform, which engineers T-cells with synthetic receptors designed to more closely mimic the natural T-cell receptor (TCR) complex compared to traditional Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies. By simultaneously targeting two distinct B-cell antigens, CD19 and CD22, the therapy is designed to reduce the risk of relapse caused by antigen escape, a common limitation of single-target CAR-T products. The SIR-T platform aims to provide enhanced signaling, improved cell persistence, and reduced T-cell exhaustion, potentially leading to more durable clinical responses. It is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development.
