CD22 CAR-T cells (Zhejiang University) is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed for the treatment of B-cell malignancies, specifically B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). The therapy involves genetically engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that recognizes the CD22 antigen, a surface protein widely expressed on B-lineage leukemia cells. In clinical protocols at Zhejiang University, these cells are frequently administered as part of a sequential regimen following CD19-targeted CAR-T therapy. This sequential approach is designed to mitigate the risk of relapse associated with CD19 antigen escape. For patients with Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) B-ALL, the treatment may be combined with tyrosine kinase inhibitors like dasatinib to improve efficacy and safety outcomes.
