CD22 nanobody (In vivo CAR) is an experimental immunotherapy being developed by ME Therapeutics for the treatment of B-cell blood cancers. This approach utilizes a CD22-targeting nanobody as the antigen-binding domain of a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) that is delivered and expressed in immune cells directly within the patient's body (in vivo). By targeting CD22, a protein highly expressed on the surface of B-cell malignancies, the therapy directs the patient's own immune system to identify and destroy cancerous cells. The program is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
