CD22-targeted CAR-T cells (PersonGen) is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by PersonGen BioTherapeutics (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. for the treatment of various CD22-positive B-cell malignancies. The therapy involves the ex vivo genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically targets CD22, a cell surface glycoprotein expressed on mature B cells and most B-cell lineages. Upon re-infusion into the patient, these engineered T cells recognize and bind to CD22-expressing tumor cells, leading to T-cell activation and targeted cytotoxicity. This investigational biologic is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and several types of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), follicular lymphoma, and mantle cell lymphoma.
