CD22 TRAILBody

CD22 TRAILBody is a discovery-stage therapeutic candidate being developed by Trio Biotech for the treatment of autoimmune disorders, specifically rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The drug is engineered using Trio's proprietary TRAILBody platform, which utilizes an antibody-based modality to target CD22, a cell surface receptor primarily expressed on B cells. By specifically binding to CD22, the TRAILBody is designed to deliver a localized apoptotic signal to pathogenic B cells, potentially offering a more targeted approach to B-cell modulation compared to traditional anti-CD20 therapies. The candidate is currently in the discovery phase of development.
