CD3-MUC1 bispecific antibody + autologous T cells is a combination immunotherapy being developed by Benhealth Biopharmaceutical for the treatment of lung cancer. This therapeutic approach utilizes a bispecific antibody designed to simultaneously target the CD3 receptor on T cells and the Mucin 1 (MUC1) antigen, which is frequently overexpressed in various cancers, including lung cancer. By binding to both targets, the bispecific antibody facilitates immune-cell redirection, bringing T cells into close proximity with MUC1-expressing tumor cells to promote targeted cytotoxicity. This antibody is administered in conjunction with autologous T cells, which are harvested from the patient and potentially expanded or activated ex vivo before reinfusion, to enhance the overall anti-tumor immune response. The program is currently in clinical development in collaboration with Shenzhen People's Hospital.
