Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CD30 CAR-T cells (Shandong Qilu) is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by Shandong Qilu Cell Therapy Engineering Technology Co., Ltd for the treatment of relapsed or refractory CD30-positive lymphomas, including classical Hodgkin lymphoma and anaplastic large cell lymphoma. The therapy involves the ex vivo genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically targets CD30 (TNFRSF8), a transmembrane protein consistently overexpressed in these malignancies. Once re-infused into the patient, these engineered T cells recognize and bind to CD30-expressing tumor cells, leading to targeted cytotoxicity and tumor eradication. The product is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in patients with CD30-positive relapsed/refractory lymphoma.
