Overview

CD312 CAR-T cell is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting CD312 (also known as ENPP3), a cell surface marker expressed on acute myeloid leukemia (AML) blasts and leukemic stem cells (LSCs). Developed by researchers at Tianjin First Central Hospital and Nankai University, this therapy aims to treat refractory and relapsed AML by specifically targeting and eliminating malignant cells while sparing normal hematopoietic stem cells. Research presented at ASH 2024 also explores a split CAR-T configuration targeting both CD312 and TIM-3 to mitigate antigen escape and improve the eradication of LSCs.
