CD31xITAM-1 is a preclinical bispecific antibody developed by Tridek-One for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. The molecule is designed to simultaneously target CD31 (Platelet Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule-1, PECAM-1), an inhibitory receptor, and ITAM-1, an activating Immunoreceptor Tyrosine-based Activation Motif (ITAM) receptor specifically expressed on platelets. The mechanism of action involves the co-engagement of these receptors to recruit CD31-associated inhibitory phosphatases (such as SHP-2) to the activating ITAM signaling complex. This proximity-induced inhibition is intended to dampen excessive platelet and immune cell activation, thereby restoring immune homeostasis in chronic inflammatory conditions.
