Overview

CD371-SAVVY-IL18 is an investigational, autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy targeting CD371, engineered with a SAVVY (YSNVZ) chimeric antigen receptor and armored to constitutively secrete interleukin-18 (IL-18). This therapy is being developed for relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The CAR enables the T cells to identify and kill CD371-expressing leukemia cells, while the IL-18 secretion is designed to enhance antitumor immune responses within the tumor microenvironment. The therapy is currently being evaluated in a phase 1 clinical trial for safety, expansion, cytokine secretion, and preliminary effectiveness in AML patients.
