Overview

CD3xMOSPD2 BiTE is a bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) antibody designed to target and eliminate cancer cells expressing motile sperm domain-containing protein 2 (MOSPD2). Developed by VBL Therapeutics, the bispecific antibody features two arms: one that binds to the CD3 receptor on T-cells and another that binds to MOSPD2, a protein involved in cell motility that is highly expressed in various solid tumors (such as breast, colon, and liver cancers) and myeloid malignancies. By bridging T-cells and MOSPD2-expressing tumor cells, CD3xMOSPD2 BiTE induces T-cell activation and subsequent directed killing of the cancer cells. It is part of VBL Therapeutics' VB-600 platform of MOSPD2-targeting biologics.
