Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CD3xTRP-1 bispecific antibody (also known as bAb0136) is a recombinant, bispecific, knob-into-hole (KIH) heterodimerized antibody designed for preclinical research in cancer immunotherapy. It features one arm with an anti-mouse CD3e single-chain variable fragment (scFv) derived from clone 145-2C11 and another arm containing the TA99 clone directed against tyrosinase-related protein-1 (TRP-1/gp75). Built on a murine IgG2a backbone with an Fc Silent™ mutation to eliminate antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), this bispecific antibody cross-links T cells with TRP-1-expressing tumor cells, such as melanoma, to induce local T-cell activation and tumor cell lysis. It is widely used in syngeneic mouse models to study the pharmacokinetics, biodistribution, and therapeutic efficacy of CD3-targeting bispecific antibodies.
