Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**CD4BS CH505M5 Pr-NP1** is an investigational prophylactic HIV-1 vaccine immunogen developed under the NIAID-supported HVTN program. It is a ferritin nanoparticle displaying eight copies of a native-like HIV-1 CH505M5 envelope protein trimer designed to focus B-cell responses on the HIV-1 envelope CD4-binding-site epitope and support induction of broadly neutralizing antibody precursors. The product was evaluated as the priming vaccine in the Phase 1 HVTN 309 regimen, followed by a separate CH505 TF chTrimer booster; the HVTN 309 study is listed as withdrawn.
