CD70-CAR-T refers to chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapies engineered to target CD70, a type II transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) family that is expressed on various cancer cells including acute myeloid leukemia (AML), gliomas, and T-cell lymphomas. These therapies involve modifying patient or donor T cells to express a CAR specific for CD70, enabling them to recognize and kill CD70-expressing tumor cells. Preclinical studies have shown potent antitumor activity in models of AML and glioma with minimal toxicity to normal tissues[3][7]. Clinical trials are ongoing in hematological malignancies such as AML[2][7], pediatric cancers[1], gynecological cancers[8], and relapsed/refractory T-cell lymphoma[5]. Some versions use allogeneic (donor-derived) T cells with additional engineering for safety and immune evasion. Developers include Chongqing Precision Biotech for gynecological cancer indications[8].
