CD70-CAR T cell therapy is a type of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to target cells expressing the CD70 antigen. In this therapy, a patient's own T cells are genetically modified to express a CAR that recognizes and binds to CD70 on cancer cells. Once infused back into the patient, these modified T cells are intended to identify and destroy CD70-positive malignant cells. It is currently being investigated for the treatment of various hematological malignancies, including acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), and lymphoma, as well as for locally advanced or relapsed/metastatic CD70+ inoperable renal cell carcinoma.
