CD70 CAR T-cells are a type of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to recognize and eliminate tumor cells that express the CD70 antigen. CD70 is a promising therapeutic target due to its restricted expression in normal tissues and overexpression in various malignant tissues, including B cell malignancies, kidney, breast, esophageal, liver, colon cancer, glioma, hepatoma, and melanoma. These genetically modified T cells express a CAR that enables them to specifically bind to CD70 on cancer cells, leading to their destruction. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that anti-CD70 CAR T-cells can effectively eliminate CD70-positive cells and exhibit strong anti-tumor effects.
