Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CD70-targeted CAR-NK is a preclinical cell therapy consisting of natural killer (NK) cells engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) specific for CD70 (cluster of differentiation 70). CD70 is a tumor-associated antigen frequently overexpressed in various hematological malignancies and solid tumors, including renal cell carcinoma and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), while maintaining limited expression in healthy tissues. By targeting CD70, these CAR-NK cells are designed to selectively identify and eliminate malignant cells. Preclinical studies in xenograft models have demonstrated tumor regression and persistence of the engineered cells. The asset was part of an acquisition by TC BioPharm (via TCMetrix) to expand its pipeline beyond gamma-delta T-cell therapies into the CAR-NK space for the treatment of solid tumors.
