Overview

CDCS04 is a preclinical-stage small molecule modulator developed by Chipscreen Biosciences for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. It specifically targets Apolipoprotein E4 (ApoE4), which is the most significant genetic risk factor for late-onset Alzheimer's disease. The drug is designed to modulate the ApoE4 protein to mitigate its associated pathological effects, such as impaired amyloid-beta clearance, increased neuroinflammation, and neurotoxicity. As a research-stage asset, CDCS04 represents Chipscreen's efforts to apply its proprietary chemical genomics-based drug discovery platform to neurodegenerative conditions.
