CDH17 biparatopic antibody is a preclinical-stage therapeutic candidate being developed by NovaRock Biotherapeutics for the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies, including colon, gastric, and pancreatic cancers. The antibody is designed with a biparatopic architecture, meaning it simultaneously targets two non-overlapping epitopes on Cadherin-17 (CDH17), a cell adhesion protein that is highly and specifically expressed in the gastrointestinal tract and overexpressed in various GI tumors. This biparatopic binding strategy is intended to enhance tumor-specific binding and promote rapid internalization of the antibody-receptor complex. NovaRock is specifically developing this molecule as a platform for an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), aiming to deliver potent cytotoxic payloads directly into CDH17-positive cancer cells while minimizing off-target toxicity.
