Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CDH17-CD3 is a bispecific antibody (BsAb) developed by NovaRock Biotherapeutics for the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies, including colorectal, gastric, and pancreatic cancers. The therapeutic acts as a T-cell engager by simultaneously targeting Cadherin-17 (CDH17), a cell-surface protein highly expressed in gastrointestinal tumors but with restricted expression in normal tissues, and the CD3 epsilon subunit of the T-cell receptor complex. By bridging T cells and tumor cells, CDH17-CD3 promotes the formation of immunological synapses, leading to T-cell activation, cytokine release, and the selective lysis of CDH17-positive malignant cells. The program is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development.
