CDI-31244

CDI-31244 is an investigational, oral small molecule that acts as a highly potent and selective non-nucleoside inhibitor (NNI) of the hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase. It has demonstrated broad-spectrum antiviral activity across all HCV genotypes (1–6), with a high barrier to drug resistance and low cytotoxicity in multiple cell types. The drug was designed using proprietary structure-based drug discovery technology by Cocrystal Pharma. In clinical studies, CDI-31244 has shown significant reductions in HCV viral load and is being evaluated as part of short-duration combination regimens for chronic hepatitis C infection.
