Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CDK2 inhibitor ADC is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Type6 Therapeutics. It is designed to deliver a Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 2 (CDK2) inhibitor payload directly to cancer cells, serving as either a standalone therapy or in combination with other agents. The program specifically targets aggressive tumors and cancers that have developed resistance or escape mechanisms following treatment with pathway-directed therapies, such as RAF, MEK, EGFR, HER2, PI3K, Hsp90, or estrogen receptor (ER) inhibitors. By utilizing Type6's expertise in targeting the inactive 'OFF-state' of kinases, the payload is intended to provide potent, selective, and durable inhibition of CDK2 to disrupt the cell cycle in tumor cells while minimizing off-target toxicities.
