Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CDP1 is a recombinant chimeric monoclonal antibody targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). It is developed as a biosimilar to cetuximab (original brand name Erbitux), designed to bind EGFR and inhibit its signaling, thereby blocking tumor cell proliferation and survival. CDP1 has been evaluated in clinical trials for advanced solid tumors, with studies comparing its pharmacokinetics, safety, and immunogenicity to Erbitux in healthy volunteers and patients with cancer[6][8]. The drug is being developed by Dragonboat Biopharmaceutical Company Limited.
