CDR8

CDR8 is a preclinical-stage T-cell engager (TCE) being developed by CDR-Life for the treatment of solid tumors. It is built using the company's proprietary M-gager® platform, which utilizes MHC-specific antibodies to target intracellular antigens presented on the cell surface by Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) molecules. This approach allows the drug to target a broader range of cancer-specific proteins that are not typically accessible by conventional antibody therapies. As a T-cell engager, CDR8 is designed to simultaneously bind to a specific peptide-MHC complex on tumor cells and the CD3 receptor on T cells, thereby inducing T-cell activation and the targeted lysis of the cancer cells. While CDR-Life has disclosed other pipeline candidates like CDR813 (targeting PRAME), the specific target for CDR8 remains undisclosed.
