CDX-1140

CDX-1140 is a fully human immunoglobulin G2 (IgG2) agonistic monoclonal antibody that targets the B-cell surface antigen CD40. By binding to CD40 on various immune cell types, it acts as an immunostimulant, activating dendritic cells and B cells and driving NFκB signaling. This activation enhances antitumor immune responses, making it a potential immunotherapy and antineoplastic agent. Unlike some other agents, CDX-1140 does not block the natural interaction between CD40 and its ligand (CD40L), allowing for synergistic activation of immune cells when combined with soluble CD40L. It has been investigated in multiple cancer indications both as monotherapy and in combination with other agents such as pembrolizumab or chemotherapy[1][4][6].
