CDX-301 + CDX-1140 + SBRT is a combination immunotherapy regimen being investigated for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The regimen consists of CDX-301 (a recombinant human Fms-like tyrosine kinase 3 ligand), CDX-1140 (an agonist monoclonal antibody targeting CD40), and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT). CDX-301 acts as a potent hematopoietic growth factor that expands and mobilizes dendritic cells (DCs) in the blood and organs. CDX-1140 subsequently activates these DCs to enhance antigen presentation and anti-tumor immune responses. SBRT is employed to induce local tumor cell death and release tumor-associated antigens, potentially triggering an abscopal effect where systemic immune responses target distant metastatic sites. This therapeutic approach is being evaluated in clinical trials led by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in collaboration with Celldex Therapeutics.
