Overview

**CDX-313** is an investigational Captisol-enabled fixed-dose intranasal solution containing the corticosteroid budesonide and the antihistamine azelastine. It was developed for seasonal allergic rhinitis, with Captisol used to solubilize budesonide in a single nasal-spray product. Budesonide activates the glucocorticoid receptor to suppress nasal inflammation, while azelastine blocks histamine H1 receptors to provide rapid antihistamine activity. Phase 2 environmental exposure chamber studies in ragweed-allergic patients evaluated symptom relief and onset of action.
