Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cebelia is a French dermo-aesthetic skincare brand developed by Laboratoires d'Anjou in collaboration with French research institutions such as CNRS and INSERM. The product line is specifically designed to support skin repair and maintenance before and after medical aesthetic procedures, including laser treatments, chemical peels, and injections. The brand features patented active ingredients such as Pekaline (a melanogenesis inhibitor) and the LCE (Laminin, Cytokine, Elastin) complex. Pekaline targets the protein kinase A (PKA) pathway to inhibit melanin production and melanosome maturation, making it effective for hyperpigmentation. The LCE complex promotes epidermal regeneration by stimulating Laminin 5, which is essential for cell adhesion and skin barrier repair. In China, Cebelia is distributed and commercialized through a partnership with Profex.
