Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CEKLON DX is a fixed-dose combination film-coated tablet developed and marketed by Shayana Farm, a pharmaceutical company based in Uzbekistan. It is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation in adult men. The medication contains two active ingredients: sildenafil citrate, a potent and selective inhibitor of cGMP-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) that enhances penile blood flow by preventing the degradation of cGMP, and dapoxetine hydrochloride, a short-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) designed to delay ejaculation and improve control over ejaculation. The tablets are typically diamond-shaped, blue, and administered orally approximately one hour before planned sexual activity.
