Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CEL001 is an adoptive natural killer (NK) cell therapy being developed by Guangzhou Xiling Biotechnology for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. As a cell-based immunotherapy, it utilizes the innate cytotoxic potential of NK cells to identify and eliminate malignant cells that have escaped standard therapies. The treatment is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 dose-escalation and expansion clinical trial to determine its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in patients with refractory or intolerant solid tumors. The therapy is administered as an injection, and the developer operates a GMP-compliant facility in China for its production.
