Overview

Cell Amniosin (also known as Cell-Amniosin) is a cell-based biological wound dressing developed by SinaCell. It is derived from the innermost layer of the human placenta (the amniotic membrane) and retains its associated living stem cells and fibroblasts. Unlike decellularized amniotic membrane dressings, Cell Amniosin contains metabolically active cells that continuously secrete essential growth factors, cytokines, and extracellular matrix proteins (such as collagen, fibronectin, and laminin) to actively promote tissue regeneration and wound healing. It is approved by the Iran Food and Drug Administration (Iran FDA) and is primarily indicated for the treatment of deep, chronic wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers (bedsores), and severe burns.
