Cell2in-GvHD is an experimental mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-based cell therapy being developed by Cell2in for the treatment of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD). The therapy utilizes MSCs that are specifically selected using Cell2in's proprietary FreSHtracer™ technology, a fluorescent probe-based platform that identifies and isolates cells with high intracellular glutathione (GSH) levels. These high-GSH MSCs exhibit enhanced antioxidant capacity and superior immunomodulatory properties compared to standard MSC populations. The mechanism of action involves the CREB1-NRF2 signaling pathway, which maintains glutathione dynamics within the MSCs and determines their therapeutic potency. These selected cells work by modulating T cell and regulatory T cell (Treg) populations in the recipient to suppress the immune attack characteristic of GvHD. Preclinical research published in *Science Advances* (2020) demonstrated that FreSHtracer-selected MSCs show improved functional outcomes in animal models of GvHD.
