Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cell2in-IPF is a mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-based therapy being developed by Cell2in for the treatment of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). The therapy utilizes Cell2in's proprietary FreSHtracer™ technology to select and isolate high-quality MSCs characterized by high intracellular glutathione (GSH) levels. These high-GSH MSCs exhibit potent antifibrotic and anti-inflammatory properties. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that the therapy can suppress the expression of fibrosis-related genes induced by TGF-β and enhance anti-inflammatory responses, thereby targeting the central TGF-β signaling pathway involved in the progression of pulmonary fibrosis.
