Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cell2in Pets is a preclinical-stage veterinary mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy developed by Cell2in for the treatment of chronic inflammatory and autoimmune neurological diseases in pets and other animals. The therapy utilizes Cell2in's proprietary FreSHtracer™ technology to select high-glutathione (high-GSH) MSCs, which are reported to have enhanced antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The mechanism of action involves the activation of the Nrf2 pathway, which induces intracellular glutathione production, leading to therapeutic effects. The therapy has been tested in over 500 animals, with a particular focus on autoimmune diseases affecting the central nervous system, such as canine multiple sclerosis, and is typically administered intravenously.
