Cellavita HD is an investigational stem cell therapy developed for the treatment of Huntington's disease. It utilizes dental-pulp-derived mesenchymal stem cells, with the aim of restoring lost brain cells affected by the neurodegenerative process in Huntington's disease. The therapy is administered as a monthly intravenous injection over multiple cycles. Cellavita HD is being developed by Cellavita, a biotechnology company based in Brazil, and has been evaluated in phase 1 and phase 3 clinical trials for safety and efficacy in patients with Huntington's disease. As of late 2023, it had not yet received regulatory approval or announced plans to pursue FDA approval.
