Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cellemedy-VEGF is an investigational multi-specific therapeutic candidate being developed by Cellemedy using its proprietary **T-sphaera™** platform. The T-sphaera technology utilizes a 24-subunit ferritin nanocage to display multiple binding moieties, such as antibody fragments, creating a spherical protein nanoparticle (immunoferritin). This specific program is designed to simultaneously target **Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF)** and the **PD-1/PD-L1** immune checkpoint pathway. By combining anti-angiogenic activity with immune checkpoint inhibition, the drug aims to enhance T-cell infiltration and overcome immune resistance within the tumor microenvironment. The ferritin-based architecture is intended to provide improved structural stability and more effective biodistribution compared to conventional bispecific antibodies, allowing the drug to remain widely dispersed in the tumor microenvironment.
