Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CellerateRX is a wound care product composed of hydrolyzed Type I bovine collagen fragments. It is indicated for the management of surgical wounds, traumatic wounds, partial- and full-thickness wounds, first- and second-degree burns, as well as chronic and acute wounds including pressure injuries (stages 1–4), venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and superficial wounds. The hydrolyzed collagen fragments are approximately 1/1000th the size of native collagen molecules; this allows them to be readily available to aid in the natural wound healing process without requiring further breakdown by the body. The product provides a moist environment conducive to healing and can be used in various forms (powder or gel) depending on wound exudation levels[1][2][3][4][5][7].
