Celltex AdMSCs are a cell therapy product consisting of culture-expanded mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from adipose (fat) tissue. Developed by Celltex Therapeutics Corporation, these cells are isolated from either the patient's own tissue (autologous) or from a donor (allogeneic) and expanded in a specialized laboratory environment to reach therapeutic quantities. MSCs are characterized by their multipotency and potent immunomodulatory properties. Once administered, typically via intravenous infusion, they migrate to sites of inflammation and injury where they secrete a variety of bioactive molecules, including cytokines, chemokines, and growth factors. This paracrine signaling helps to suppress excessive immune responses, reduce systemic inflammation, and promote endogenous tissue repair and regeneration. The product has been investigated in clinical trials for inflammatory and degenerative conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and severe respiratory complications associated with COVID-19.
