Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cellular Matrix is a combination therapy consisting of autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA), prepared using the A-CP-HA kit. It is being evaluated for the treatment of genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), also known as vulvovaginal atrophy. The PRP component provides a concentrated source of autologous growth factors, including platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β), and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which stimulate tissue regeneration, collagen synthesis, and angiogenesis. The hyaluronic acid component provides immediate hydration, restores the viscoelastic properties of the vaginal mucosa, and acts as a scaffold for cell migration. This non-hormonal approach is administered via local mesotherapy microinjections into the vaginal vestibule and the posterior wall of the vagina.
