Cellunit is an automated medical device and cell processing system developed by CGBio (often associated with the Novosis product line) designed for the rapid isolation of autologous stromal vascular fraction (SVF) from a patient's adipose tissue. The resulting SVF is a heterogeneous mixture of regenerative cells, including adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs), endothelial progenitor cells, and various immune cells. These cells work synergistically to promote tissue repair, angiogenesis, and anti-inflammatory effects through paracrine signaling and direct differentiation. Cellunit is primarily utilized in regenerative medicine for applications such as soft tissue reconstruction, wound healing, and aesthetic fat grafting to improve graft survival and tissue quality.
