Overview

Celmatix's AMH antagonist is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody designed to block the activity of Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH). In the ovary, AMH acts as a negative regulator of primordial follicle recruitment, effectively serving as a brake on the depletion of the ovarian reserve. By antagonizing AMH, this therapeutic aims to stimulate the activation and growth of follicles, offering a potential treatment for ovarian folliculogenesis disorders and conditions associated with ovarian aging, such as primary ovarian insufficiency (POI). This approach represents a novel strategy in reproductive medicine to modulate ovarian function and potentially extend the fertile lifespan.
