Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Celyvir** is an autologous advanced cell-based oncolytic virotherapy in which bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stromal cells are loaded with the replication-selective human adenovirus ICOVIR-5. The mesenchymal stromal cells provide systemic tumor-homing delivery, after which ICOVIR-5 preferentially replicates in tumor cells with a deregulated retinoblastoma-E2F pathway, causing tumor-cell lysis and promoting antitumor immune activation. It has been evaluated by intravenous administration in patients with metastatic and refractory solid tumors, including pediatric patients.
