CELZ-100 (ImmCelz) is an autologous cell-based immunotherapy developed by Creative Medical Technology Holdings. It utilizes a proprietary, cell-free system to "supercharge" a patient's own immune cells using secreted factors from perinatal tissue-derived cells (AlloStem platform). The process involves harvesting the patient’s immune cells, incubating them with a reprogramming cocktail derived from donor stem cells, and then reinjecting these "supercharged" immune cells back into the patient. These modified immune cells are designed to educate other components of the immune system to halt autoimmune attacks while preserving normal pathogen defense. The primary indication under development is brittle type 1 diabetes; additional potential indications include heart disease, liver disease, and kidney disease[1][4][5]. The mechanism includes modulation of regulatory T lymphocytes and hepatocyte growth factor pathways[6].
