Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cenplacel (PDA-002) is an allogeneic, mesenchymal-like cell therapy derived from full-term human placental tissue, developed by Celularity. It is engineered to provide angiogenic and tissue regenerative properties, specifically for treating patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and diabetic foot ulcers (DFU). The therapy works by potentially improving peripheral perfusion and promoting ulcer healing through the action of mesenchymal stromal cell-like properties. It is administered via intramuscular injection in combination with standard care.
