CentricT cellular immunotherapy

CentricT cellular immunotherapy is an autologous T-cell-based therapy developed by Beijing Hospital for the treatment of cervical cancer. The therapy involves the collection of a patient's own immune cells, which are then expanded and activated ex vivo before being re-infused into the patient. This approach is designed to enhance the cellular immune response against malignant cells. In clinical settings, CentricT is primarily evaluated as an adjunct to standard-of-care treatments, such as concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT), specifically for patients with advanced (stage IIB-IV), recurrent, or metastatic cervical cancer. The goal of this combination therapy is to improve local control and systemic anti-tumor efficacy compared to standard treatment alone.
