Overview

CEP-37250 (also known as KHK2804) is a recombinant, humanized, non-fucosylated monoclonal antibody developed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. It specifically targets sialic acid-containing glycoconjugates that are frequently found on certain tumor cell types. By binding to these tumor-associated antigens, CEP-37250 is designed to stimulate the immune system against cancer cells. The drug was evaluated in a phase 1 clinical trial for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced cancers including colorectal and pancreatic cancer. The most common adverse events were infusion-related reactions and elevated liver enzymes[1][2][3][7].
