Overview
CeQur Simplicity is a wearable, discreet, bolus-only insulin delivery patch designed for people with diabetes who require mealtime insulin. It is a simple, mechanical device that contains no electronics or batteries and is worn on the body for up to three days. Each manual squeeze of the device's side buttons delivers 2 units of rapid-acting insulin subcutaneously. The patch is intended to replace multiple daily injections (MDI) for bolus dosing, aiming to improve patient adherence and glycemic control. Clinical data have demonstrated that initiation of the CeQur Simplicity patch is associated with significant reductions in HbA1c and improvements in time-in-range (TIR) without increasing the risk of hypoglycemia.
