Cerasorb M is a synthetic, fully resorbable bone graft material composed of pure-phase beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) with greater than 99% phase purity. It is designed to mimic the structure and porosity of human bone, featuring interconnected micro-, meso-, and macropores (5–500 μm) that facilitate osteoconduction, angiogenesis, and rapid cellular infiltration. The granules are polygonal and irregularly shaped to enhance interlocking within defect sites. Cerasorb M serves as a scaffold for new bone growth by supporting the migration of osteogenic cells and vascular structures into the defect area. As it is resorbed at a rate matching new bone formation, it enables complete remodeling into vital bone tissue without leaving fibrous residues or biologic contaminants. Primary indications include augmentation or reconstructive treatment of the alveolar ridge, filling infrabony periodontal defects, post-extraction socket preservation, sinus floor elevation in dental implantology, repair of non-infected bone defects in oral/maxillofacial surgery and orthopedics (including intervertebral grafts), peri-implant defects, horizontal/vertical augmentation procedures, cystectomy/apicoectomy voids filling, general grafting procedures in dentistry/orthopedics/plastic reconstruction[1][2][4][5][6].
